Around 120,000 Global flights are canceled every year, according to, averaging about 329 cancelations daily, or 658 cancellations on a two-day average. However, 3,533 cancelations happened between Friday, June 25, and Saturday, June 26. In the last two days, there has been a 580% surge in flight cancellations worldwide.

British Airways (BA) canceled hundreds of flights, and thousands of staff were furloughed on 85% pay. Hundreds of Southwest flights were delayed or canceled last week, with the airline blaming various factors, including technical problems and weather conditions. American Airlines (AAL) reported they would cancel hundreds of flights through to mid–July. Weather and labor issues were to blame for AAL’s previously canceled flights.

BA announced the loss of four pilots in a statement released on Friday, June 18. According to social media, their deaths were thought to be caused by their immunization against the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) Virus. BA claims to have vaccinated 85% of its workforce.

All new Delta Airlines employees must now receive the CCP Virus vaccine. The vaccine is not required by AAL, but it provides one day off and $50 to workers who obtain the shot.

According to a 2014 study published in the Journal of Thrombosis and Haemostasis, pilots have a higher risk of clotting difficulties since they fly frequently and for lengthy periods of time.

On June 15, 2021, Medical News Today released a survey that found AstraZeneca’s CCP Virus vaccine had a higher instance of blood clots and poor platelets in those that got the shots.

The narrative that four British Airways captains died within a few weeks of each other has gone viral on social networks with the idea that the CCP Virus shot is related.

“Airline pilots are a very healthy bunch,” says a retired Royal Air Force pilot who was also an airline captain who worked for various independent British airlines. “I worked for a number of airlines, and I actually cannot recall a pilot dying of any illness before retirement. Four in a few weeks? Unheard of.”

“I am a retired pilot, not a medic, but common sense tells me that if there is a clotting problem with the [AstraZeneca or Johnson & Johnson/Janssen] vaccine then exposure to deep vein thrombosis [a known problem with long haul flying] might be relevant,” he added.

‘There is no truth whatsoever in the claims that the four deaths are linked,’ BA spokeswoman Helen stated on Twitter on June 17. She didn’t disclose if the pilots had been vaccinated or not.

Two American pilots have been involved in similar incidents, with one exiting a plane on a stretcher.

Three BA captains and other airline crew members contacted lawyers in February, concerned that BA was pressuring them to take an unapproved vaccine.
