The phenomenon of immigration and open borders, a topic that arouses the interest of globalism and leftist ideas, received a boost from the Vatican on Sunday, Jan. 3, after one of the most difficult stages of Jesus’s childhood was taken out of context.

Through a tweet, the Vatican’s Office for Migrants and Refugees wrote, “One year ends, a new one begins, let’s walk again the path made with our brothers and sisters #DisplacedlikeJesus.”

Pope Francis, a controversial figure within the Catholic Church, is known to be among the most reformist given his open stance on issues that are essentially contrary to religious doctrine. In 2018 he assured that hell does not exist and that condemned souls simply “disappear.”

This time, the supreme pontiff pointed to immigration, one phenomenon that serves the interests of globalism to infiltrate societies with all kinds of traditions and cultures that aim to destroy the identity of a nation.

In a video accompanying the tweet, Pope Francis explained that he had chosen the theme, “‘Forced like Jesus Christ to flee’ for the 2020 World Day of Migrants and Refugees message to remind people Jesus experienced as a child ‘displaced and a refugee.”

In his 2020 message, he said that displaced people are “one of the challenges of our contemporary world,” especially because of “situations of conflict and humanitarian emergencies, aggravated by climate change.”

The pontiff cited a 1952 text attributed to Pope Pius XII, which states: “The child Jesus experienced with his parents the tragic fate of the displaced and refugees, adding it is ‘marked by fear, uncertainty, and unease.’”

In 2018, Bishop Athanasius Schneider denounced to the Italian newspaper Il Giornale that globalist operations have infiltrated the Vatican and are being carried out to radically alter European culture.

According to Schneider, the “multiculturalist” operations are determined to eradicate Christianity in Europe and in the West. One of their key tactics is to flood European countries with immigrants in order to dilute the Christian base and radically change national culture and identity.

Pope Francis, likewise, has not bothered to be open to issues such as gay marriage, or abortion, and has made clear his alignment with globalism-communism.

It is worth remembering that in October 2019, Pope Francis in his new encyclical “Fratelli Tutti,” revealed the Vatican’s affinity for communism by stating that the world needed a new politics and to reject the “magic theories” of market capitalism.

“The Christian tradition has never recognized the right to private property as absolute or inviolable and has stressed the social purpose of all forms of private property,” the pontiff said in the encyclical.

With regard to immigrants, in his last statement Pope Francis appealed to media reports, which show the reality of immigrants from hunger, war, as well as other serious dangers in search of security and a dignified life for their families.

Likewise, the Vatican said some weeks ago that the CCP Virus pandemic should not divert the attention of people from migrants. “The pandemic must not make us forget other dramatic situations, such as violence and abuses against migrants,” said Father Fabio Baggio.
