Taxpayer-funded advertisements will be banned from using the word, Christmas.

The UK government has blocked naming celebrations of Christ’s birth in its latest Chinese Communist Party virus vaccine (COVID-19) ad campaign. The original slogan “Do not take COVID home for Christmas” will be replaced with “Do not take COVID home for the vacations.”

Boris Johnson’s government reportedly omitted “Christmas” because the holiday might offend different minority religious groups.

“We have been advised by Cabinet Office that we should not use the word Christmas, as the government campaign needs to be inclusive and some religions do not celebrate Christmas,” leaked emails said according to the Daily Mail.

The decision came despite more than 70 percent of Britons declaring themselves to be Christian believers.

Different political leaders criticized the Johnson government’s censorship.

“As a Muslim, I find it ridiculous we cannot enjoy this special time of year,” Conservative Meriden MP Saqib Bhatti said according to Breitbart. “I look forward to showing my new son his first Christmas tree. The idea you cannot mention Christmas is completely ridiculous.”

The Norwegian Postal Service previously launched a Christmas ad, depicting a homosexual romance between Santa Claus and a man named Harry. The ad shows the pair in a passionate kiss, which drew strong criticism.

Conservative circles believe the ad indoctrinates children and promotes homosexuality.
