The BL news-President Trump announces Executive order to protect free speech on College campuses
President Trump spoke to a packed house of enthusiastic conservatives Saturday at the annual Conservative Political Action Conference, CPAC. In President Trump style, he pumped up the crowd with a mix of off-script comments, and his typical reminder of all the accomplishments his administration has made in just two years. The Lowest unemployment in decades across multiple demographics, More Americans working now than in the history of this country, slashing regulations, tax cuts, VA reform, A massive military overhaul and expansion, and President Trump reiterated his stance on Socialism,
But the real takeaway in my option, was his comments about free Speech, especially on campuses
February 19th on the UC Berkley Campus, A young Conservative student was assaulted as seen in the video in the preview window. I lowered the volume because the language from this man is just as aggressive as his assault. Fast forward, The man in the video was arrested.
Here is a picture and a tweet on Hayden’s twitter page threatening anyone who would Quote; Snitch on this Guy. His name is Zachary Greenberg, 28 years old. Arrest records from the sheriff’s office say Greenberg was charged with assault with a deadly weapon and attempting to cause great bodily injury.
Normally I won’t go out of my way to point this stuff out, beyond reporting “Just the facts.” But there is a dangerous assault on free speech in this country, mainly against Conservatives and it has become widespread on College campuses. This intimidation is a Marxist tactic and has forced many individuals and groups to consider self-censoring to safeguard them from this type of assault. We at the BL have understood this reality when furthering our business model on social media.
The first amendment of the constitution Guarantees freedoms concerning religion, expression, assembly and the right to petition. Freedom of speech is recognized as a human right under article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. UDHR.
President Trump recognized this assault on the UC Berkley campus and invited Hayden up to the stage to speak.
After Hayden Williams spoke, President trump made an unexpected announcement concerning free speech.
We all have a responsibility as Americans to acknowledge the importance of our constitutional rights. The US constitution and what it stands for is why we have a crisis at the Border. The American Economy is booming, and other countries whose policies favor the ruling class are collapsing, and their people are suffering and trying to seek a better future. We welcome them with open arms, through a process that is ingrained into our society. But the process is the rule of law and the ability to make sure that those who wish to become American citizens recognize our Constitution, including the First Amendment, Free speech. For the BL news, I’m Rich Crankshaw. We’ll see ya next time.
