Nearly 60% of the 700 doctors who responded to the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (AAPS) online poll in June 2021, claimed they were not “fully vaccinated” against COVID.
In comparison, the American Medical Association claims that 96 percent of practicing physicians are completely immunized. This was based on the responses of 300 people.
Although neither study reflects a representative sample of all American physicians, the AAPS survey reveals that physician support for the mass injection campaign is far from universal.
“It is wrong to call a person who declines a shot an ‘anti-vaxxer,’” says Jane Orient, M.D., executive director of the American Academy of Pediatrics. “Virtually no physicians are ‘anti-antibiotics’ or ‘anti-surgery,’ whereas all are opposed to treatments that they think are unnecessary, more likely to harm than to benefit an individual patient, or inadequately tested.”
According to the AAPS study, 54 percent of physicians were aware of patients who had experienced a “significant adverse reaction.” Eighty percent of unvaccinated doctors replied, “I believe risk of shots exceeds risk of disease,” and 30% said “I already had COVID.”
Unknown long-term consequences, use of aborted fetal tissue, “it’s experimental,” availability of effective early therapy, and tales of fatalities and blood clots were among the other reasons for refusing the injection.
Fifty-six percent of 560 practicing doctors indicated they provided early COVID therapy.
Nonphysicians were also encouraged to take part in the poll. 2,548 people out of a total of 5,300 gave their opinions on any related negative effects they were aware of. Amputation, paralysis, stillbirth, menstruation abnormalities, blindness, convulsions, and heart problems were among them.
“Causality is not proven. However, many of these episodes might have resulted in a huge product liability or malpractice award if they had occurred after a new drug, according to Dr. Orient. “Purveyors of these COVID products are protected against lawsuits.”
Since 1943, the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons has represented doctors of all specialities. Its slogan is omnia pro aegroto, which translates to “everything for the patient.”
