While critics complained about President Trump’s intensive tone on the death of ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, Robert J. O’Neill, a former Navy SEAL who shot al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden, responded:

“Hey scumbag, tell bin Laden I said what’s up,” he tweeted on Sunday, Oct. 27.

The Baghdadi raid was even more controversial after Trump told reporters that he kept the plan from House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff.

Outspoken O’Neill, who has been known to slam Democrats on Twitter before, again shared his thoughts that showed he was not kind to Schiff.

when he appeared on “Fox & Friends” on Monday, Oct. 28, 43-year-old O’Neill called it “incredible” and said he wished he could have been involved in this one, too.

“I’m so proud, but now I kind of know what it’s like to be a little jealous. I’m like, ‘Why couldn’t I have been on that one?’ So cool they did that.”

O’Neill retired from the Navy in 2012 after serving for 16 years, according to Pluralist
