All social media accounts from the 8-year-old, Ava Martinez, who made impersonation videos to mock Democratic New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, have been shut down as her family was getting death threats and and being harassed.

The family said in a tweet, “The Left’s harassment and death threats has gone too far.”

And for the safety of their child they “deleted all Mini AOC accounts.”

The tweet said: “Ava will not being doing any more MINI AOC content. The Left’s Harassment and death threats have gone too far for our family. We have been getting calls on our personal phone numbers. For our safety and for our child’s safety, we deleted all Mini AOC accounts.”

Earlier this year, the 8-year-old girl got high attention after mocking Democratic New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in impersonation videos.

Ava Martinez even appeared on Fox Business talk about her impersonations. She said that her dad and her uncle encouraged her to make videos as she looks like Ocasio-Cortez.

According to FoxNews, Martinez’s stepfather Salvatore Schachter told Fox News that the feedback from “Mini AOC” was overwhelmingly positive. But after she re-enacted pictures of Ocasio-Cortez visiting southern border last year, then the negativity “became too much” and the comments were “increasingly personal, dark, and dangerous.”

“She’s disappointed at not doing Mini AOC going forward but we explained that this is for the best and she’s okay with it,” Schachter said, according to FoxNews.
