Just three weeks after taking the reigns as host of ‘CNN Newsroom’ on weekends, Jim Acosta lost 40% of his audience, Fox News reported.
Since the former White House correspondent took over on April 3, the Saturday shows have averaged 796,000 viewers.
In the first three months of 2021, in the same time slot, CNN had 1.141 million viewers on Saturdays, indicating a 30% drop in viewership with Acosta as the anchor.
But Sundays are worse for the anti-Trump journalist who barely amasses some 710,000 viewers, which implies a 41% loss compared to the network’s average of 1.196 million viewers in that time slot during the first three months of 2021.
In 2020, for the 4 p.m.-6 p.m. ET timeslot on Sundays, CNN averaged 1.149 million viewers, indicating that Acosta has lost 38% of last year’s audience.
However, the rating loss is not just about the post-election drop in viewership.
CNN used to average 1.247 million viewers on Saturdays between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. ET for all of 2020, 36% higher than Acosta’s program average.
Jim Acosta a political activist who showed the true face of CNN to the world
In a series of videos recorded incognito by a Project Veritas reporter, a CNN technical director admitted that their mission was to “get him out of the White House during Trump’s tenure.”
The end justifies the means
According to Charlie Chester, CNN’s director, CNN used various tactics to try to ruin the reputation of former President Donald J. Trump.
Jim Acosta was the visible face of CNN’s deceptive fake news network strategy.
Throughout Trump’s administration, he aggressively confronted and interrupted the former president, even to the point of that episode where he pulled the arm of a White House aide when she went to take the microphone from the correspondent.
Acosta appeared on his network, saying that the video presented by the conservative media was “doctored” and that he never touched the aide even though it was a live press conference.
The mainstream media is misleading its audience
In another Fox News report, the CBS news network was caught releasing an edited video of a police officer shooting a 13-year-old boy in Chicago.
According to the Fox News report, CBS left out the image of Toledo’s arm holding the gun, and the boy is seen with his arms up and the cop shooting.
But a post by Daily Wire reporter Ryan Saavedra shows the full image where Toledo is seen with the gun in his right arm at the time of being shot.
A response to Saavedra’s post from Mr. A (@kingkarmayamayaa) points to the whole video, and you can see why it played out the way it did.

“This [CBS] video is deceptively edited and cuts out the portion of the police officer’s body camera footage that showed the suspect was holding a gun.”
This example is a drop in the ocean
During the first impeachment attempt against Trump, MSNBC, CBS, CNN, and the discredited New York Times published rumors as facts and accused the former president of being a ‘Russian agent’ or even working for Putin.
There is a procedure that allows the government to select people who wish to enter the country. However, when Republicans or conservatives talk about “legal immigration,” the media talks about “racism.”
This is just one way that media misleads people and sets liberals against conservatives, Democrats against Republicans.
The healthy practice of disagreement and debate without hatred has been eliminated because of constant propaganda demonizing all who think differently from the “official” narrative.
