Following the frustration suffered by Democrats in Congress over the blocking of the bill to create a commission to investigate the alleged Jan. 6 riot on Capitol Hill, they continue to seek new ways to persecute supporters of the 45th President of the United States, Donald Trump.
Former Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton said on her Twitter account on May 28. Protesters had killed a police officer during the disorderly entry of several dozen of them into the Capitol on Jan. 6.
“An angry mob attacked our Capitol, our lawmakers and our elections. They killed a police officer. And Republican leaders would rather we didn’t know more about what happened,” she tweeted.
On that sad day, only one person died violently. Ashli Babbitt, an unarmed veteran Trump supporter, was shot and killed by a Capitol Police lieutenant.
Others died of natural causes, including Capitol Police officer Brian Sicknick, after suffering two strokes, according to the district’s chief medical examiner.
The Capitol Police and the media also lied along with Clinton when they claimed that the Capitol invaders killed officer Sicknick.
On Jan. 6, hundreds of thousands of Americans concerned about the unexpected election results of the 2020 presidential election came to Washington to demand transparency and respect for their rights.
Some hundreds of them went to the Capitol to continue with their demands, and dozens of them entered in disorderly fashion after the doors were opened from the inside, as shown in circulating videos.
The Democrats, based on what happened, began relentless and unconscionable persecution of the patriotic MAGA supporters. They also say it is the biggest assault since the Civil War.
Not only did they initiate an illegal impeachment trial against former President Trump, but the FBI launched an incomprehensible raid in which they arrested more than 400 of his supporters.
They also proposed domestic anti-terrorism laws aimed at institutionalizing the persecution of their political opponents. With the bill that collapsed yesterday in Congress, they tried to establish a powerful commission similar to the one that investigated the tragic 9/11 attack.
What is very inconsistent is that the Democrats are not investigating members of the Marxist groups Black Lives Matter (BLM) and Antifa, promoters of the deaths and destruction that occurred in hundreds of cities during their violent riots last summer. Members of those two groups also entered the Capitol on Jan. 6, intermingling with the MAGA supporters and attempting to incite violence.
The contradiction is so great that it prompted former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii) to claim that Democrat Rep. Adam Schiff and former CIA Director John Brennan should be considered domestic enemies. They represent a greater danger to the U.S. than the protagonists of the riots on Capitol Hill.
“But let’s be clear, the John Brennans, Adam Schiffs and Big Tech oligarchs who are trying to undermine our constitutionally protected rights and turn our country into a police state with KGB-style surveillance are also domestic enemies—and far more powerful, and therefore dangerous, than the mob that stormed the Capitol,” Gabbard said as reported by Newsmax in January.
