In a recent report, it is revealed that on Feb. 2, 2020, Anthony Fauci sent an email to a former U.S. official: under the Obama administration, telling her not to wear masks because they are not really effective against COVID-19 (Chinese Communist Party) or CCP Virus, Breitbart reported

Fauci’s email was addressed to American University President Sylvia Burwell, who previously served as Health and Human Services secretary.

Fauci advised Burwell, not to wear masks, as those commonly purchased in pharmacies were not effective in containing the virus.

The email stated the following: “The masks are really for people:

The masks are really for infected people to prevent them from spreading the infection to uninfected people rather than protecting uninfected people from contracting infections. The typical mask you buy at the drug store is not really effective in keeping out the virus, which is small enough to pass through the material. However, it might provide a small benefit to avoid the thick droplets if someone coughs or sneezes on you. I do not recommend that you wear a mask, especially since you are going to a very low risk location. Your instincts are correct, better to spend money on medical countermeasures like diagnostics and vaccinations.

This post just goes to show that Fauci doesn’t really believe that masks are effective in stopping the spread of the CCP Virus. While he initially held this position for a while, he later changed his mind, urging all Americans to wear masks, including school children, who were forced to wear them during the school year.

Regarding masks and children, it is a controversial issue. There are studies that show that this measure has brought many problems to children, ranging from mental, psychological and physical problems.

Since the pandemic began, Fauci has changed his discourse regarding masks several times.

  • On March 8, 2020, he recommended that healthy people not wear masks.
  • In April 2020 the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, at Fauci’s urging, said that people should wear masks.
  • In May 2020 Fauci and the New England Journal of Medicine admitted that masks don’t really help.
  • On January 25, 2021 Fauci urged healthy people to wear two masks.
  • On January 31, 2021 Facuí said there is no data to show that wearing two masks will make a difference.

All these comings and goings serve to show that the mask mandate has no scientific support and seems to be a measure taken arbitrarily that goes against the freedom of each individual to choose what he or she does.

On the other hand, the facts show that the face mask mandate does not stop the spread of the virus.

This was demonstrated by a recently published study conducted by the University of Louisville.

The study was based on data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and found that while the facemask mandate was imposed in 80% of U.S. states and led to increased compliance in the use of facemasks, it did not result in a slower rate of growth in the spread of the virus.
