Joe Biden’s chief medical adviser was lambasted for ignoring a former president breaching pandemic restrictions, and disapproving a South Dakotan motorbike competition.
Anthony Fauci did not make many new friends after criticizing Sturgis Motorcycle Rally organizers for attracting nearly 700,000 fans to Sturgis, about 174 miles west of Pierre.
Fauci claimed the week-long event would only cause COVID-19, or Chinese Communist Party (CCP) virus, cases to jump.
“I am very concerned … that we are going to see another surge related to that rally,” he said in a video shared on Twitter. “There comes a time when you are dealing with a public health crisis that could involve you, your family, and everyone else that something supersedes that need to do exactly what you want to do.”
The Democrat urged everyone to postpone their plans indefinitely until the pandemic ends, even if it lasts several years.
“You are going to get to do that in the future but let us get this pandemic under control before we start acting like nothing is going on,” he can be heard saying. “I mean, something bad is going on.”

However, state Gov. Kristi Noem (R) revealed the previous event did not cause a sharp increase in infections. In fact, the Mount Rushmore State has not imposed any lockdowns in response to the CCP virus.
The governor confirmed the rally’s previous parade definitely did not widely spread the virus. She also rejected a report from San Diego State University’s Center for Health Economics and Policy Studies that estimated the 2020 rally caused about 266,000 new infections.
“This report is nothing short of an attack on those who exercised their personal freedom to attend Sturgis,” she said according to Fox News.
The Republican also criticized mainstream media for spreading misinformation about the rally transmitting the virus to a large number of people. She believes there is no reason why the 2021 event should not create $800 million in economic benefits.
“The media lied about the event for a year,” she said according to the broadcaster. “They have labeled it as a super-spreader. That was not true, we continuously pushed back.”
Several social media users criticized Fauci for having double standards by ignoring Barack Obama’s massive birthday party that squeezed people into a crowded tent. The former president was photographed and filmed dancing without wearing a face mask.
“I have come to loathe Fauci,” Melissa Mackenzie commented on Twitter. “I cannot believe I fell for this fraud for even a minute. Lollapalooza: nothing, Obama birthday party: nothing, [and] riding a motorcycle in the free air: Satan’s devil virus will get you!”

Some expressed concern about Fauci failing to mention the rising number of illegal immigrants entering the United States, many of whom are believed to be infected with the deadly disease. Others remain skeptical about both the Biden administration’s and mainstream media’s track record.
“Most do not trust Biden’s government and the media even less,” Pdjake4968 commented. “Then comparing shut down severity in each state to realize states like Florida and Texas managed better with less draconian control. Fauci is too old and Dems are hypocrites, causing more destruction than any enemy.”
