Retired Army Lt. General Michael Flynn recently appeared in a 3-day event in Texas as a guest, warming attendees’ hearts with his caring act.
The “For God & Country Patriot Roundup” conference was held at Omni Dallas Hotel in Dallas Memorial Day, featuring prominent Trump allies like Michael Flynn, Sydney Powell, and other high-profile conservatives.
According to Dallas News, the attendees said they attended the weekend gathering to learn more about returning the country to historic conservative ideals rooted in religion, law, and order.
A World War II veteran who had lost an arm was introduced to Flynn.
The retired general greeted the soldier with a warm embrace and expressed his gratitude for the veteran’s service to the country.
Flynn approached the man’s wife and introduced himself.
Michael Flynn served as former President Trump’s national security adviser for a short period before resigning amid the FBI’s allegations of him being dishonest. The accusation became legal proceedings, which led to a three-year legal battle that finally ended with Trump’s pardon.
Former Attorney General William Barr disclosed that the Department of Justice (DOJ) had moved to dismiss the charges targeting Flynn after an analysis of the case found that federal prosecutors had been unable to turn over admissible proof, which compromised the DOJ’s case against him.
Barr explained his decision to drop the case against Flynn in an interview, saying that it cannot be considered a crime without “a legitimate investigation.”
Additionally, Barr said that the lack of material evidence hindered Flynn from being convicted. “They did not have a basis for a counterintelligence investigation against Flynn at that stage, based on a perfectly legitimate and appropriate call he made as a member of the transition.”
