As illegal entries along the southern border rise exponentially to record levels, the Biden administration is considering sending the illegal aliens to states near the northern border with Canada, seeking to relieve the collapsing infrastructure along the southern border.
Customs and Border Protection (CBP) on Friday, March 19, requested aircraft support from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) after at least 1,000 illegal alien families and unaccompanied minors crossed the Rio Grande into South Texas on Friday morning, Department of Homeland Security (DHS) officials said.
In addition, border agents still have another 1,000 illegals they were unable to process overnight on Friday, according to revised communications.
The situation is deeply exacerbated by the nearly 4,500 unaccompanied children held in detention centers and tents at the border, far exceeding the legal time limit of three days.
Meanwhile, the Biden administration continues to fail to admit the crisis situation at the southern border and refers to the immigration issue as a “challenge” to be solved.
Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) said he “struggled to hold back tears” while visiting an overcrowded children’s center on Friday.
“Just left the border processing facility. 100s of kids packed into big open rooms. In a corner, I fought back tears as a 13 yr old girl sobbbed uncontrollably explaining thru a translator how terrified she was, having been separated from her grandmother and without her parents,” he wrote on Twitter.

Another no less important fact is that in the previous cases when it was decided to move illegal aliens to the locations neighboring the northern border with Canada, it was always during the summer, which guaranteed pleasant temperatures both for the transfer and for the people’s stay.
Now the situation is completely different because of cold winter temperatures, and it is unclear whether CBP will be able to provide warmer clothing and adequate facilities for families sent to states such as Michigan, South Dakota, and Montana.
It would not be the first time that at a critical time the government has had to move illegal aliens to other locations away from the area of greatest conflict, precisely to prevent overflows at the southern border.
But what is outrageous on this occasion is that the border has already been overflowing for weeks due to policies that promoted massive migration from Central America and everything indicates that if these policies are not modified, the situation will worsen and they will only manage to also overflow the places where the illegals are being transferred, without resolving the root cause.
