Senior Republicans failed to support the president because they feared there could be dire consequences, he said.
President Donald Trump has accused Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) and other Republicans of rolling over and playing dead instead of doing everything they can to help win a second term in the Oval Office.
“Mitch and the Republicans do nothing, just want to let it pass,” the president said on Twitter. “No fight!”
He believes if the situation were reversed, the Democratic Party would gladly “fight to the death” instead of conceding election defeat.
“If a Democrat presidential candidate had an election rigged and stolen, with proof of such acts at a level never seen before, the Democrat senators would consider it an act of war, and fight to the death,” he said.
McConnell quickly enjoyed bipartisan support for the next CCP (Chinese Communist Party) Virus stimulus package after giving up on President Trump winning another four years in the Oval Office. The $900 billion package ultimately failed because the Democrats failed to closely follow the president’s instructions to increase individual payments to $2,000 and divert foreign aid funding back to struggling Americans.
Instead of supporting his president, McConnell thought it was a good idea to make peace with who he called “president-elect” Joe Biden and “vice president-elect” Kamala Harris.
“The Electoral College has spoken, so today I want to congratulate president-elect Joe Biden,” he said according to Reuters.
He admitted the GOP had initially hoped President Trump would succeed in overturning the election. However, a number of Republicans believe the Democratic Party’s 306 Electoral College votes will be too hard to contest, even if election fraud happened.
“Many millions of us had hoped the presidential election would yield a different result,” he said. “But our system of government has processes to determine who will be sworn in on January the 20th.”
The president is also disappointed with the lackluster effort to investigate election irregularities by the Department of Justice and FBI.
“The ‘Justice’ Department and the FBI have done nothing about the 2020 presidential election voter fraud, the biggest scam in our nation’s history, despite overwhelming evidence,” he said on Twitter. “They should be ashamed. History will remember. Never give up. See everyone in D.C. on January 6th.”
He has serious concerns that the judiciary system is not serving its purpose to apply the law, settle disputes, and punish those who break the law.
“Courts are bad, the FBI and ‘Justice’ did not do their job, and the United States Election System looks like that of a third world country,” he said on Twitter. “Freedom of the press has been gone for a long time, it is Fake News, and now we have BigTech (with Section 230) to deal with.”
However, the president believes justice will be served and he will be declared the real winner of the November election.
“When it is all over, and this period of time becomes just another ugly chapter in our country’s history, we will win!!!” he said.
